The Burnt-Down Stables.

The burnt-down stables,
The way the fire spread.
The wood burnt the horses
So there,
They lay dead.
I visit, still, this lonley place
Hoping that I'll solve the case.
That very night the stables crumbled,
The owner only quietly mumbled.
When I saw the dreadful sight,
My heart,
Thumping
Terrified with fright.

The Black Mare

Dust was kicked into the air
then there was a glimpse
of a wild black mare
Her stallion can be seen
anywhere she goes
together they run
nose by nose
Shes big and bulky
hes wide and tall
they rear up high
with no problem at all
Then the dust settles
back to the ground
the mare and her stallion
are no where to be found

The River of Life

Crystal blue waters
Overlooking the vast plain
of never ending greenery
the river runs through
the purple sky-scraping
mountains
Feeding the land
A mare
bay, with her foal
wild as the wind
drinks from the cold
fresh spring
and relies on
it's drink
a herd of deer
stand by this stream
for protection
shaded by the tangle of
evergreen forest
that surrounds
animals near and far
on the water they rely
it is for sure
without it they will die
but another uses it
from a factory from afar
polluting its clean with chemicals
a barrel left ajar
leeking into the purity
look, you can see
the effect this has
the fade of the green
the end of the flowers
the sickly expression
the animals wear
So much relies on this river bend
god forbid
that come to an end

Death Queen
The seas was blue into the far distance,
The seaway continued on forever;
staight-ahead.
The one who truly laughs first wins;
The one I love best is laughing.
If I go farther away than anyone,
Will you still smile at me from here again?
If I close my eyes,
I catch the scent of a summer day.
We play in the river,
Just us two;
Covered in mud.
We chase after the clouds because they say we will find happiness.
If we reach them,
The one who gets at the top of this hill first wins.
Head for that place you love the best,
Where there are so many memories that you need nothing else.
If you close your eyes you can catch the scent of that sea.
Summer will come once more,
Glowing silver.

One unusual easter night
On the night of Easter
The Mores family having a feister
They had roast turkey
And rich coloured jerky
They wore strips of stripes
Everyone gathered, even the mice
It was an unusual Easter night
The kids had eggs
They all play tag
All had fun
Even in the moonlight, not the sun
They had chocolate everywhere
Everyone waiting for the turkey share
It was an unusual Easter night
Then the feast was over
it was time to leave
It was a good night, it was a good feast
