permanent foals mybuety, are what they sound like. Foals, that are foals forever, they dont grow up. |

*I laydown next to Princess, my newly born white filly. She softly nickers & nuzzles my nose, I nuzzle hers back. she softly neighs, then lays her head down, but still looking around at the new world.* |

She looks at me confused as if I make walking look easy. "It's ok Princess, try again." I say gently. She Places her feet in a square & falls. I nod to her to try again. This time I go behind her when her feet are placed right, & nudge her foreword. Making her walk, she is wobbly, but I walk slowly to the stream so she can stay near. By the time I get to the stream, princess is running & jumping around in the grass that's almost as tall as her. I take a drink, then see mybuety & her foal Jewel nearby. I neigh to her, she jerks her head up from grazing & neighs back, then I start to walk over to her. Princess follows, when I stop next to mybuety Princess starts to suckle. " Hey mybuety, how are you & jewel?"* |

mybuety & Pressed | | 2012-02-23 03:09:46 | | | *Ally picks her head up sharply & sees smoke. She starts running away, then turns, "Princess! Where are you?!" Ally sees Almas, & Cloud helping Princess get to the herd. I run over to Princess and have her run. I thank Almas, & Cloud for their help, they stay nearby just in case. I guide Princess into the middle of the herd so we are surrounded by other horses. I keep a close eye on her for signs of slowing down, or tiredness. She seems fine, unbelieveably since She was born 20 minuets ago. :) Princess & I move to the outer area of the herd, me on the outside, & Princess on the right of me (ont he inside of the herd). I hear a crackle to my left, I turn & see a very large flaming tree coming down upon us. I immediately neigh firecely, & with fear, & I push Princess out of the way. The tree comes down, and lands on my left hind feltlock. I fall & cry out in pain of the weight & heat. "Almas! Cloud! Help push this off me!" I yell in pain "Thunder, Please take Princess & follow the herd, we will catch up to you!" I look at princess, "I am fine Princess, now go to the herd with Thunder. I will be there shortly." She neighs then goes up to Thunder, waiting to be led to the herd.* |

Almas: *Nudges Jewel after Princess and Thunder.* Go! I'll catch up. Ally! *Runs over and kicks at the fallen trunk, snorting at the smoke and pain. Kicks one more time and dislodges it from Ally's fetlock. The fire is right behind us.* You can lean on me if you have to, but we need to move now! |

*I look quickly at my feltlock.. it doesnt look right. I get up as quickly as possible & lean on Almas & Cloud. I realize I can trot at a medium pace, so I do that. & flinch at the pain, it feels like i was soaking my foot in a bucket of red hot needles.. & they are pricked into my skin. My bad leg hit a rock & I screamed out in pain, but keep trotting I heard Princess give a neigh to me. I neighed back. I look at Cloud & sigh.* |

I neigh to them to let them know that we are coming. We continue to trot quickly, I throw my head up everytime my ankle hits the ground. We speed up into a slow canter... my ankle is throbing..... I look for the herd as we dodge falling trees and branches.* |

Almas: *Slowly trots and catches up to the herd with Ally leaning on my shoulder. We go a little ways then stop.* The fire isn't catching up to us, in fact it looks like its going the other way. Ally, can you trot a circle around me? I need to try to figure out what's wrong with your fetlock. *Sees Jewel a little ways off looking at me.* stay there Jewel, I'm all right, I just need to help Ally.
Jewel: ok mom. *Trots off a little ways and lays down to rest and watch.* |
