whoa! dad had a run in with one of our native rattlesnakes, a western diamond back, it was a dry bite though. but this summer please be careful! alot of the beatiful snakes are also venimus and anitvenom can be very exspensive and even hard to come by if you live in a very rual area. beter to be safe then to be in a hospital bed racking up thousands of dollars in hospital bills!
