***THE HORSE SHELTER***
This is a role-play shelter and we are always looking for more volunteer help. (OK, thanks)
*Lady starts pawing the ground, and I instantly know whats about to happen, I grab the foal kit and close the stall door, I coax her into laying down so the foal will be unharmed, and fashion a pillow-like thing with hay like my father taught me* Alrighty girl. Lets do this.
~10 minutes later (real time actually)~
There pretty girl, your little pretty girl. *I look down at a small, Chocolate palomino filly* Hello sweetie. Hello Diva. *I rub her all over and slip a foal halter on and off, then I step out* Hey! We have ourselves a Lady Divine! |

But it looks developed and stuff... Let me call Diva's sire's owner. *comes back 10 min later* He made a mistake. It is not premature. This foal is very healthy. it's been in it's mom 11 months. |

I turn it to a country station, but not finding any good ones, I turn it to the Trace Adkin's CD, I wait for March to hop in and close the door before I put it in drive and drive out of the lot, I make sure my seat belt and March's is on before pulling out of the drive* Have no fear, I'm a good driver *I turn out and move to a confortable 50 mph on the bendy back road to the little underpriced tack shop I work at (though everything is top notch)* Nobody knows much about this place, which is a shame, it's cheaper then all the places in this town, but the tack is perfectly new. Ah, now you see my parking skills. *I turn in, and insted of slowing, speed up, I give a quick tug to the left on the wheel and we go sliding sideways, stopping in the perfect parallel Parking spot* Ta-da! My Dad taught me that trick, *I park it, grab the keys and my bag, then hop out and walk in, half expecting March to either throw up and kiss the ground* |
