I was riding with Sam when I first moved here six years back. I was on an old mare of mine, Cassandra. We were riding near the Old Mine Ridge when a stallion knocked me off Cassie and stole her. I followed him and we fought, I got several broken bones... and Cassandra back. I don't think I can do it again, but we'll see. We'll see. |

Phantom: * I bring my herd to War Drum Flatts as its almost twilight, and time for a drink of refreshing water. After taking a few sips I go stand watch over my herd as they drink and graze.* |

Jo- I pull into the driveway of where Peach will be boarded. I step out of my old beat up Ford pick-up truck and walk to the other side of our red trailer. I run my hand along the stick on horses galloping across the side and unlatch the gate. I walk in the empty side and unclip the chain across the back of the trailer stall. I walk up into the stall and unclip the chain attached to Peach's Royal Blue halter. I clip on a matching lead and back her down the ramp. "Well girl, this is your new home." I walk her to a Native American guy (Jake). "Hi, I'm Jo? This is Peach Iced Tea, where do you want her?" I smile as I brush my overgrown, strawberry blonde side sweep bangs out of my face, allowing my light brown eyes, match Peach's Mahogany Bay coat, shine through. |
