Well, I think Diana Dare would have been okay. and they were going to do Nan Drew and they lengthened it to Nancy. Uniocornia, Martha Writ wrote the earlier books and this other guy wrote some of them too, and Martha Writ didn't like them, so she got her job back! I like the earlier ones better too. I'm on #61 I think.

I learned a bunch of it from Wikipedia and some from a book called "The Lost Files Of Nancy Drew"

It's cool and it has flaps and pop ups and hints to being a detective and some ND history too! I got it from the library.

Which one is #61? I get confused with the numbers because the books are numbered in the order they are written (I think). Nancy seems to meet Ned later in the series, but he is mentioned or is in the very earliest ones? | Uniocornia & Erich |

I'm only on book 20-something. I haven't been to the library recently so I'm not sure which one I am on. | Cowgirl4Christ & Desert Sun |

The Swami's ring is #61. I just read it. It's pretty good. I can't remember when Ned comes along. She doesn't meet him, he just happens. | Maid Mairain & Dawn Rising |
