His strides swallow up the ground,
Barely making a sound,
We gallop along the path,
The trees feel our wrath,
They sway in the breeze,
Rustling the leaves,
Out into the open fields,
My heart is healed,
He takes me away from reality,
Far from formality,
And miles from calamity.
Our hearts are the same,
I bury my hands in his mane,
He makes me feel free,
Just him and me.
