Arabians
"An Arabian will take care of its owner as no other horse will, for it has not only been raised to physical perfection, but has been instilled with a spirit of loyalty unparalleled by that of any other breed."
- Author Unknown
The flick of a proudly arched tail. The lean body and strong lines.
You can easily distinguish an Arabian from any other horse. They are proud horses, and hold their tail and head high. The deep dish in their face and the intelligence in their eyes tell you more than show awards will ever show.
The Arabian originated from the Arabian Peninsula.
Today, Arabian bloodlines are found in almost every breed of riding horse.
An Arabian is a very spirited horse, not a good choice for an inexperienced or beginner rider. I would recommend that a person ride about 2 or 3 years before ever owning a horse, but especially for an Arabian. Arabians will sometimes be sold simply because their owners cannot handle them.
Arabians excel in endurance, so most endurance trails have Arabians on their list of entrees.
Arabians are actually one of the top ten most popular horses in the world.
They are now found worldwide, including the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, continental Europe, South America (especially Brazil), and its land of origin, the Middle East.
How was it? | rainstar13 & Nightfire | 2014-01-13 03:50:18 | | Thanks Nellie! :) | rainstar13 & Nightfire | 2014-01-14 04:11:34 | |
