I need 1,200 more w-bucks! | Sugar1Loaf2 & Lightning | 2014-02-21 18:48:25 | | I would sugar but I just spent 300 w-bucks on a board bill, I don't even have second pony!!!!!
Admin: just try 3 math games a day and you will earn 300 wb/day. That piles up fast.
| s0cc3r13 & Whisper | 2014-02-22 00:45:31 | | I've got money but I want to see how much you can earn. Mwahahahaha! Work, slave of debt, and see what you can accomplish as I look on, my heart cold as stone!!!!! LOL
Did that sound like a good story material sentence to anybody? | Nat2 & The Price of Valor | 2014-02-22 02:13:32 | | That's okay s0cc3r13. Nat2 that sounds kinda mean. | Sugar1Loaf2 & Lightning | 2014-02-22 20:04:40 | | I would if I could, but it wont let me play any games, so I cant. that includes the math game!!!
Admin: can you write to JC and explain how you are unable to play math games on our site? | s0cc3r13 & Whisper | 2014-02-23 02:55:09 | | ok | s0cc3r13 & Whisper | 2014-02-24 02:01:43 | | That is okay s0cc3r13! | Sugar1Loaf2 & Lightning | 2014-02-24 19:26:54 | | Sugar, Nat was just joking. Did you see the "Mwahahahaha"? :-) She wasn't trying to be mean. I think that actually she said something that is a good life lesson, and so did Jane. If you work a bit every day - like playing math games - then your earnings will accumulate much more quickly than you think. And one of the things you want to avoid if at all possible is being a slave to debt. When you owe money to others then you are not free to do what you want with the money you earn. You have to pay them back, along with interest - extra money that you pay them for the privilege of having borrowed money from them in the first place.
Students are not really taught this in classrooms, but homeschooled students are in an excellent position to learn not only academics but real-life lessons, such as how to manage money and avoid debt. CPP is a wonderful place to learn these lessons. There are many opportunities to earn W-bucks. Click on "Get Bucks" at the top of this page. Enter contests. Play games. You earn W-bucks for every game you play in the Game Loft. Also, there are quite a few games on the site that let you earn W-bucks immediately for just playing the game. If you get a high score on some of the games, you will earn W-bucks. Submit a picture, story, or cartoon to the magazine and if it is published you can earn some serious W-bucks.
Another thing that CPP helps members learn is that sometimes we have to wait until we have saved up enough for something we want. This is a great lesson. We work to earn what we need to pay for what we want. And it might take longer than we want, but when we have enough, we can spend it on the things we want or need. And there is no debt to go along with it! Isn't that great? | EagleGirl & Deerslayer | 2014-02-27 17:59:57 | | Sorry Eaglegirl. :( I know it is a good life lesson, but I just-- I -I- I'm sorry. I shouldn't of said that to nat. | Sugar1Loaf2 & Lightning | 2014-03-01 02:07:07 | |
