Anna's New Horse (poem)
By Sugar1Loaf2

Anna really wanted a horse to ride
Her parents said she could maybe have one on the side,
Anna thought she saw one she would like
Her parents said she had to give up her bike

Anna said yes!
So she decided to name the horse Jess
The day she got the horse
She decided she would take a riding course

Embers
By sockylola1

Embers crackle in the fire
Love was once so dire

Now you see that love
Being taken away with a shove

You see the red dun
Neighing, crying out 'cause of your shun

You feel your heart break
You feel the ground shake

Everything has been lost
Your heart cannot frost

You will not forget those deep eyes
Those deep brown eyes, so shy...

The trailer pulls away
You hear the horse neigh

You know that is crazy but you
Still do it, you're too

Much in love with this horse
It took you on a love course

Run after it chase after it
Chase it till the dawn is lit

Don't leave it behind
Take it home and let it shine...

This is actually a song I wrote after something that happened to me once. Tweaked it a bit to work better.
