Fire in a Horse
by Roncy

Sometimes I wonder why
Those shiny stars cloak the sky
The night is lightened, brightened, untamed
It never, ever seems the same.

Oh, I see up there in the dark
Horses galloping, made of a spark
Constellations so far away
You cannot see them in the day.

Only those look out there, so far
Can see the horses in the stars
You see, imagination is a gift
It is your eyes that you must lift.

If you look, there are ponies
They're everywhere, it isn't phony
You see, the stars will form together
Oh, stars, like birds of a feather!

When I look up in the sky at night
My imagination always takes flight
Instead of stars, I see horses
It's my imagination, of course!

Look up there and you will see
Instead of stars, they're royalty
If you look close enough
You see a creature, so gorgeous, so tough!

Riding Home
by jeppocat

Running up here,
Running down there,
Who cares where
my pony and I can roam.
Wherever we'll run
we'll follow the sun.
Pony and I have so much fun
as we ride our way back home.

Wild Horses
By RealRebel 12

"Come on Willow we can beat them" said Danny as she galloped the gelding across the road.

Sarah galloped her horse across the road as she did a car came out of nowhere and hit her horse, Socks. Sarah screamed and Danny looked back to see what had happened and she froze. Danny pulled out her phone and called 911.

since that day Danny never road again because Sarah died. Also Danny sold Willow.

3 years later...

Danny drove her dirt bike up the hill and there at the bottom she some a herd of mustangs. Her eyes brighted then she saw a horse that reminded her of Socks. Then she saw not far from the herd Danny saw a small foal standing beside a dead mare that may have died from a lightning strike the night before. Danny got off her bike and walked down to the foal she wrapped her arms around the foal and she tied a piece of rope she found around the foal's head as a halter. She led the foal home as it started to rain.

Later that day...

Danny came home leading the foal. Her mom ran outside as it started to stop raining. Her mom hugged her and her sister took the foal and put the foal in the barn. After dinner Danny went out to the barn and gave the foal some grain. Her mom had followed her to the barn.
"Looks like you both got a second chance. You got a second chance at having your own horse. And this.. colt has a second chance at life." Said Danny's mom.
"second chance... Chance that's it his name will be Chance!" Said Danny as she petted the palomino colt.

2 years later...

Danny road Chance in the field where she first found him. She saw a herd of mustangs running freely and she looked at chance. She rubbed his neck. Then she saw where she left her dirt bike two years ago. "Oops" she said as she laughed.

Later on she rescued many more mustangs and other horses now she is living a happy life with her horses.

Title: Moonrise
By: ameliabrenes5

The moonrise rose onto the majestic Arabian Horse.
Her beautiful dished face was arched,
And her dainty legs seemed to march.
The moon rose full on her face, her small ears flickered back and forth.
Her small loving brown eyes shone with pride,
as she looked at the foal by her side.
He was born as the moon rose,
and so he will be called Moonrise.

Never Yielding Freedom
by Roncy

A horse in the wild
So peaceful, so mild
Not afraid of anything at all.
Who's pace is in time
So perfectly sublime
To the music of the leaves of Fall.
Nothing to chase her,
No one to hate her,
Nothing to frighten her away.
Her ears flick back and forth again,
For her, there never is an end,
And she shines in the light of the day.
She runs, so free,
Herself she must be,
Forever, not just while.
She gallops 'cross the fields,
But only once yields
To look back on you and smile.
