Pony Poems Every few days I will announce a new competition. The comps are where everyone who wants to creates a poem about horses and ponies. They must be entered by two days after the notice. By then I will read all the poems and announce the winner. Whoever won will get a prize!

The coldest it's been here was 58 and that was only in the morning. This is how Georgia's seasons work:

Summer: Hot, way way way hot.

Fall: Hot, oh, one nice chilly day, oh wait it's hot again, gnats aren't supposed to be out this time of year!

Winter: 3 days of cold, oh it's warm again, is that snow, is this what snow looks like, hot.

Spring: Warm, Warm, Hot.

Then those children are wimps. Last year it got to about minus 30 or something. It's gotten lower then than minus 40 before. We once had snow in august and had snow start sept. 3 or something this year.

I'm going to a horse show in a couple weeks so if I don't show up after that, know that I had a good life, and you all were good pals.

Pfft, same in South Texas. XD

Spring: Warm, nice, mosquitoless.

Summer: Hot, hot, more hot, 5000 percent humidity on a dry day, hordes of murderous mosquitoes rove around kidnapping people and taking them to their mosquito lair like some Arabian Nights fable.

Fall: Cool, breezy, sunny, mild, good times.

Winter: 2 days of cold (if lucky), rain, rain, mud, rain, at least there aren't mosquitoes, we're all wearing shorts and T-shirts at Christmas, why are we warming up again it's only January 5th.

And thus the cycle begins anew. In Oklahoma it's different--

Year-round: Dust, misery, dryness, more misery, dust.

I could not survive in that much heat. I think after about three days in the hot wether of above 40 degrees I'd look like a year old raisin.

If that's how you define a wimp, SWC, then I am a Wimp Supreme. How about I move up there and you move down to Texas where it's 96 in the shade, and we'll each see how tough the other is after about two days. XD

Have fun at your horse show, SWC! And may your life be good!

Lol, SWC! I went to the mountains for a couple of days last winter. We were there for a week, and it was freezing. Don't get me wrong I love the cold, but I can only deal with it about 2-3 days. Then I'm done and want my warm weather back.XD

Bella Grace! Hi!

Why in heaven would you go to the mountains, GHA. There's nothing up there but snow and skiers. XD

Oh, almost forgot. I had a fun reaction to the allergy medication I got put on by the doctor's today. I also wrote a depressing-ish poem about rain, but it doesn't have horses in it. . .
