Take your sub roll and put a couple peices of ham on one side.Split a peice of cheese in half, and but both peices on top of the ham. Put the sandwich in the toaster oven-until the cheese has melted and the sandwich is warm.Carefully take the sandwich out and spread your mayo on.Tada! Theres my sandwich:):):)I usally have chicken noodle soup with my sandwich, but you dont have to!

Here is a recipe from a cookbook called "Kitchen for Kids" that I thought you might like.
CHOCOLATE SPRINKLES ICE CREAM
Ingredients:
One large egg
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup 35% cream
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 cup plain yoghurt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 to 2 tsp sprinkles

Mix the egg and sugar. Add the cream and beat until well blended. Heat at 50% power in the microwave for 2 minutes. Stir smooth. Repeat this again. Put chocolate squares in microwave for 2 minutes at 50% power. Stir melted chocolate into egg mixture. Blend well. Cool to room temperature. Stir the yoghurt and vanilla into the cooled chocolate mix. Beat well. Pour into loaf pan. Scatter sprinkles on top. Freeze for three hours.

There you have it, your own ice cream! Hope you enjoy it!

APPLE CRISP from Jane Crandal

In fall apples are the very best and this is a great way to serve a bunch of them.

Take 6-10 apples

Wash, core, and slice into 3/8 inch slices. No need to peel the apples.

Put apples into a smallish baking dish. The slices should fill the dish to 3/4 full. I use a 6 x 10 glass pan.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a bowl mix together the streusel topping

1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar

Then mix in 1/3 cup vegetable oil.

Stir until flour is clumpy and there is no loose flour. Add a little more oil if it will not all clump together into small balls of flour and oats.

Sprinkle over apples.

Pour 1/3 cup lemon juice (2 large lemons) over the crust, making sure it gets completely dampened.

Sprinkle the top with 2 tbsp. of turbanado sugar (optional but makes it slightly crunchy.)

Bake for 30-45 minutes until apples are soft and top is slightly browned.

Plum Jam
approx 6lbs (2.7kg)

Ingredients
4lbs (1.8kg) of Plums
1pint (575ml) of water
4lbs+ of Sugar

Instructions
Wash your plums thouroughly and chop them into halves (you can stone them at this point also) and place them into a pan with the water and simmer them untill the fruit goes soft to the center.
Now add the sugar and stir it in untill the sugar has fully dissolved, then bring the mixture to the boil and boil continuously intill the jam sets when it is tested and wait for the stones to rise to the top if you havent already taken them out. To test, take a cold plate and put a blob of the jam onto it, run your finger through the middle, if it stays parted it is done if not boil for longer (also to check for pectin).
Finally remove the "Scum" by using a spoon to scoop it away then pot and seal it whilst it is still hot.

Mrs.Crandal, do I have recipes in the cookbook? I lost some in the whole delete and all, so I wasnt sure:):):):):) Anyways, Im gonna share a Misspippy favorite-Ice cream sundeas!!!!
You'll need:(This serves one, double the recipe per serving)
*Your favorite icecream!
*Hot fudge
*Cherries
*Whipped Cream or Cool whip
*Sprinkles
*NOTE-THIS IS A PEANUT/NUT FREE RECIPE. BUT-YOU HAVE TO CHECK THE INGREDIENTS ON THE INGREDIENTS YOU BUY FOR THE RECIPE-SO THEY DONT HAVE ANY CONTAINED PEANUTS IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY LIKE ME*
Heres what you do!:*HAVE AN ADULT NEAR WHILE YOU MAKE THIS*
1.Get a bowl,or rather a glass if you like and if your hot fudge requires to be microwaved, have an adult to that.
2.When your hot fudge is ready, let that sit for just a second, and have your adult help you scoop a scoop or 2 of your icecream,or however many scoops your hungry for.
3.Take your hot fudge and make it spread across in strips across your ice cream scoops.
4.Shake up your whip cream bottle, with the cap on, and then spray that carefully onto the icecream aswell.
5.Your ice cream may be starting to melt,so now quickly but not messily sprinkle your sprinkles on top of the whip cream.
6.Finish off with a nice juicy cherry on top!
7.Mmmmmm time to eat!!!
