August 2009 Poem Contest

Haiku HayashiOkami & Dark Steel age 14

I have an entry for the poetry contest, it's short though, since it's a haiku. They follow a pattern of five syllables, seven, and five again. They're Japanese and mostly about nature.

Its wings clipped, and locked away,
Gaze up at the clouds
