Rainstar and POA, what sorts of things are you doing with Sasha and Ranger, respectively? Can you tell us what your training goal is, and how you are breaking it down into steps? This really helps the rest of us learn. | EagleGirl & Deerslayer |

Well, with Ranger I work on mainly getting him to sit everyday for about a week. I also doing heeling with him. The next week I will work mainly on getting him to down.
After I practice with Ranger, I brush him and give him a treat.
Rewarding your animal with things that they enjoy is the best way that they can learn, literally, that is almost the only way that they can figure out they are doing good. Also just scratching on there sweet spot or saying 'Good Girl/Boy!'
These are some great techniques for a fun training session. | POA Girl1 & Remi |

Hey Eagle, not many pony pals seem to be in the club.
Any way we can post about it on here? I'll put it on my profile where it will kind of get peoples attention.:] | POA Girl1 & Remi |

Sure. :)
Since Sasha is a Border COllie, I have to keep her mind challenged constantly. That makes it kind of difficult in the winter, so I do things like burying stuff in the snow and making her find it and bring it to me. Other times I will have her "wipe her paws". I like to do agility in the winter because the slippery surface makes it somewhat hard for her to do it. Then in the summer it's easier for her to do it. Since it's too cold for her to go on a walk, I take her to Petco or somewhere else. | rainstar13 & Nightfire |

You are very welcome Lara!
Ranger has got to where he can do automatic sits, he is doing fantastic!
I took him to his first outing thee other day and he was pretty wild at the start, but after wards he finally settled down. His laying down when I ask is getting quite a bit better. I am working with him everyday, (I try to anyway.) With horses and all it is a little hard getting into my schedule everyday:] You probably know how that is...
Well, if you Lara and Rainstar could tell me how your animals are doing, then that would be great! | POA Girl1 & Remi |

Right now I'm training her to limp on command. It's a very advanced trick and I'm having difficulty teaching it to her because she gets so eager sure jumps up to get the treat. Any suggestions? | rainstar13 & Nightfire |

POA, how about if someone designs a card inviting pals to join the Clicker Club? When it is designed, you can send it in to Jane. If there are several, maybe she can pick one as the "winner" and put it in the store and gift catalogue. Jane, would that be okay? | EagleGirl & Deerslayer |
