Hello, and Welcome to the Element herd! I’m so glad you came! My name is Fiery Wind of Rocky Stream. You can call me Wind for short – that is my favorite element.
To explain – this herd is about horses who have special powers, but not any old powers, element powers! My name has all the elements: Fiery = fire, Wind = wind, Rocky = earth and Stream = water.
The rules of this herd are;
1. You may only join as a mare, and only once (unless I say different)
2. You may only have up to 2 elements
3. The elements must be in your name (for ex. For fire and wind, Windfire)
4. You must be 4 years and older (your horses, I mean) or be a foal (under 6 months) or an Apprentice (6 months and older and being mentored by an adult)
5. NO swearing!!!
6. NO name-calling or you will no longer be a part of the herd! As with swearing.

Here is more info on where we live. We live near a mountain with several streams trickling down, and where the wind is always blowing in part of the meadow. The fire is hidden in the forest nearby. Foals are not allowed near any of these (especially fire) until they are apprenticed and with an adult.
As a mentor with an apprentice, you must match both elements that the foal has. You will teach the foal how to use its powers properly. I choose mentors for foals, and when I grow old (which I will) I will choose which young STALLION will take my place. That means that closer to the end of my leadership, I will start allowing foals to be colts instead of fillies, and for YEARLING stallions to join. Thank you,
