hosessaddles & Phoenix | | 2015-05-03 04:12:47 | | I can't believe it is almost Mother's Day again! Do you have any special plans? We are having a Mother's Day luncheon after church. The church is providing the roast and chicken, and the men are bringing side dishes. My son is going to take roasted okra and my husband is going to take roasted asparagus. My daughter (Nat2) is going to make cream of mushroom soup; she makes the BEST!
Last year it was so funny to see the side dishes. Almost every one was macaroni and cheese, including my husband's! My son took 2 lbs. of roasted okra last year and by the time I got to it there was hardly any left. My son was fairly far behind me in line, so I took a little extra for him. It was a good thing; it was gone by the time he got to it! Folks raved over it. I was pretty proud, since I taught him how to do it and he just ran with it.
Nat2 wanted to get me something special, so I helped her order some goodies from Katz gluten-free bakery. I opted for different kinds of doughnuts. Mmmmmmm. I thought it was so sweet of her to want to get me something like that. Everything is stored in the freezer, so I can just eat it a little at a time.

Did you have a nice Mother's Day? Our luncheon at church was nice. My son roasted three pounds of okra this time, and he still brought home an empty dish. :-) It was very good! |

Maybe Darby can help you make an account. When I can't figure out how to do something I just ask Nat2. LOL
If you sign out and go to the home page, there should be a place to click to create an account. I can't look because I'm signed in. LOL Give that a try and see if you see it.

Instead of logging in, click on "register". It will take you to a page where you can choose and name a pony, click continue and choose a user name, click continue and enter your password, click continue and enter your birthdate, click continue and enter your email, click continue and you are done!
I just went through the process and made a new account so I would be able to tell you all the steps. :-)
A welcome/confirmation email will be sent to your email.
