Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Nat2 and I made a pecan pie! I had a box of gluten-free pie crust mix that we had never tried, so I made a crust and it actually turned out! I rolled it out between pieces of plastic wrap, and it was very lopsided. So I put it in the pie plate and handed it to Nat2 and told her to "fix it". Nat, always the artist, did a great job. I was very impressed, because it certainly needed "fixing" when I handed it to her!
The pie was great. I have another crust in the refrigerator, so I think we might make a pumpkin pie tomorrow.

On Thanksgiving we went to my sister's house. She lives in ******Falls. That is where I'm from. I made some fudge in the microwave. I'll give you the recipe later. My daughter, Foalgirl8021, always says "It tastes like an Angel made it." We always laugh at that because she says that to a lot of stuff. (She likes to eat a lot but is always surprisingly skinny.) My son, Puppyboy816, got a present from my nephew. It was a remote controlled monster truck. It was green. When we got home Puppyboy816 and Foalgirl8021 were driving it everywhere. They didn't want to go to bed but they did about thirty minutes later. Today we are going to celebrate the Foalgirl8021's last two days of being nine. She turns ten on the eighth. I will hopefully tell y'all what we did for her almost birthday. Have a wonderful week.

That's great foalmom! So foalgirl's birthday is only 3 days before Nat's! Nat turns 10 on the 11th. I will have to see if we can schedule a birthday chat for her. For her birthday, I got her a gift basket of food from Whole Foods. We went this past Saturday and my husband (Cookieman) took Nat off in the store while CoolGuy and I found all sorts of great stuff to put in her basket. Then we came home and I wrapped everything individually and put it all back in the shopping bag and stuck bows all over the bag. It is sitting in front of the fireplace right now! I would tell you what else we are doing, but I know Nat reads this too - Hi Nat! You'll just have to wait and be surprised. ;-) LOL.

| Eagle, Foal has a birthday chat today. Nat and her can have it together. We might not be here until late because we are going to do something with my best friend. (The kids call her their Aunt because she has known them since they were born.) Anyway, were I'm from didn't show up. Admin or whoever reads this, why do you block out where we are from??? Yesterday we met my husband's Aunt and cuz. Foal ate ribs. They were about 7 inches long!! Nobody finished all their food. Only Foal. Like I said before, she eats a lot!! |

We have the artificial tree up this year. But Nat2 and CoolGuy each have tiny artificial trees in their rooms. Nat's is lavender, and Cool's is silver. I bought them some ornaments (purple and blue, respectively) for their trees, and they did a great job decorating them. We leave a string of lights up around the living room ceiling all year round, but Cool put up some extra ones. And I put lights on the wreath and garland after Nat and Cool put the ornaments on.
We haven't gotten the outside lights up yet, but we've had TWO floods from a toilet that wouldn't shut off. We lost some of the carpet in two bedrooms on the Saturday night flood, and we lost some more carpet, ALL the carpet in my closet, and the hallway flooring in the Monday night flood. We are now keeping the water to the toilet turned OFF at the wall unless it is in use!
The remaining carpet is propped up with boards, with fans blowing on it. We have fans blowing on the wall areas that are still damp. And, much of the stuff in my closet is dispersed all over the house. Thank goodness we're not having company right now! |

| Eaglegirl had to move her shoes and other things into my room. I can barely make my bed anymore. Thankfully, I'm teeny weeny and can squeeze through the gaps. |

| I didn't get anything from Santa, but I got lots of stuff from my parents. Nerf guns, Playmobil, a Prezwalski's horse, and a ticket stub collecting book! |
