You do not have to have two horses to have a cabin.
What happened was you ignored the warnings for two months and your board bill remained but your cabin was taken away and one of your horses went back to Olsons, so that you did not keep running up bills.
If you have a cabin and one pony and you pay your board then you keep that cabin and the pony.
