I think it does work pretty good mybeauty, you just have to be real persistant with it. Its really neat I think. Of course there are horses like TGG's and they jump out of the arena! :) | MAC1023 & King |

dealing with a non horse family sucks. plants face onto desk and *groans*
Mrs. Crandal Missy got COVERED with snow. then it melted and it was like someone dumped a bucket of water on her in winter! icecicles formed on her coat. When that happens again should I take a towel to her? she was soaked. but I'm wondering if it would disturb her fur and make her more cold.

Hi GS
Being wet makes a horse colder than being covered with snow. Yes, if she will stand for it she would appreciate being dried off so her fur fluffs back up again. That will keep her warmer than letting her be wet.

You could put Missy in a horse blanket.... a winter waterproof one. | MAC1023 & King |

If it melted, Rub her hair in circles against the grain of her hair. Being covered in snow is one thing. Being covered in melted snow goes through her insulation! | mybuety & Pressed |

Mac I don't use blankets on MIssy. They cost and she has a coat for a reason. PLus I don't show her so there's no need to keep her hair short by blanketing her. Thank you for the suggestion but I don't use blankets on her. Thank Mrs. Crandal. Mybeuty your post didn't make sense to me. could you rewrite it please? | Golden swallow & Bow tie |
