| Marian: Diva is trained to ride, in fact I can ride her with nothing controlling her but my legs. The only thing is that she doesn't let anyone else touch her. If I ever sold Diva before she got over her fear of everyone else she would go to Glue or Dog Feed. I'm sorry, but she has to stay. My mom said that she was making progress with Diva, but not enough which is why I brought her along. I'd have loved to bring my horse Virtue, but I could only bring one and Diva had to come. Sorry. She has to stay. |

| Marian: All of the reason she is afraid is because people have mistreated her in the past. Horses have extremely strong memories. I am the only human who has ever come in contact with her that was kind, as far as our research of her past life is. She was born at our stables and was re homed, and then, after changing owners a lot, she came back to us. I was kind when she was little and she remembered. No one else was kind. She was abused. She started not letting other people near before I started keeping other people away for their safety. You can get about a yard away on foot, on horseback you can get about an inch away. Shes not afraid of other horses. You can't really blame her, she's been abused. She's scared. And we couldn't afford to bring two. She'd go into mourning and not eat if I left her at home. That happened when I went to a week long comp with Virtue. Please, you have to let her stay! I can put a padlock on her stall door so no one gets hurt and I'll ride her through the course, and I'll guarantee she wont spook unless its a whip. When she sees a whip she'll balk and run or just cower. I can bring her in from pasture, I'm used to that, I'm a stable hand at our stable. Sure, the owner is my mom, but she needs more work than she can afford and I love to learn about healing horses. So I'm sure we can work it out so she can stay. She's such an amazing horse. She can do Dressage, Jumping, English, Western, sidesaddle, EVERYTHING! But no whips. |

I will take my time with her until she is OK with me, I promiss, you can be there if you want, in hiding so she doesn't just ignore me and go to you. *I turn to the brother and sister* That is OK as long as either Miss DeBous, my father or I am with you and your horses. And I will have to meet them also, if they are downright dangerous to be around, they will have to be trained by us until they are not so dangerous. All horses are dangerous, all horses can spook or buck when a hair gets pulled, but not all horses have to be extremly dangerous, which is why we need to check because we do not want our students in danger. *The last sentence is directed at everyone* |
