Ruby's performance
Ruby gracefully heads for the single bar jump and lands cleanly at a nice steady canter. Then Ruby looks ahead to the next jump the oxer jump and smoothly soars over it like no tomorrow and at a little faster pace jumps cleanly over the bush jump. The bush jump was a jump that Alexandria was working on with Ruby for the past 2 months. Ruby is a little bit anxious but makes it work jumps over oxer/cross rail jump and heads to the next one. The current jump is the water jump while the show was going on the jumping horses before Ruby were all shy of the water jump but Ruby went confidently over the jump with no hesitation and landed cleanly, off to the next jump, the cross rail. At the cross rail Ruby streched her legs out and flew over the jump heading at a slow canter over the double bar oxer. |

| Iris: I trot Frankie around the ring. With a slight squeeze and a shift of weight he breaks into a road trot. After a few times around the ring I shift again and he slows to a walk. "Good boy." I praise him. For although I might have looked flawless to some, I was still getting used to riding saddleseat. So, I had only ridden saddleseat 3 times before, this being my 4th. |
