***Shanks boarding school *****
Welcome to Shanks horse boarding school for girls. Here you will learn to care and ride your horse. There are seven turning-out paddocks, and lots of stalls for your horses. You live in cabins on the east side of the school. The cabins have 3 bunk beds in each of them, and there are cabins A-Z. Besides the seven arenas for turning out, their are separate ones for different riding. There is an arena for jumping, one for trail, one for barrels, etc. any style of riding is welcome. Please read the rules below.

If you want to share a cabin, its fine with me. But if not, I'll move to cabin i, if that one is not taken. I really don't care where I stay :D! Mia- *plops down in a chair* What first? Jackie- *sets down some books in front of her* These. Math, sciense, history, speeling, and english. Mia- No geography? *looks a bit confused* Jackie- Geography? *looks at a notepad* Oh, that is right there. Mia- *finishes all work but her math* Um, shouldn't we do a review instead of jumping right in? Jackie- Yes......*does a ten minute review then lets her student do the work* You only had to put 25 on your paper, not w=25. Mia- It means the same thing. I did that on teaching textbooks. Jackie- What? Mia- I was home-shooled since kindergarten. Its a math program for the computer. TT pre-algerbra. Jackie- Well, you got all one-hundreds ecept on spelling. Colour is spelled "c-o-u-l-or". Mia- Or it can be spelled "c-o-l-o-r". One is original english, the other is english. Depends on what you would prefer. Jackie- Oh, ok. Lets go to the ring. Sometimes we will have to share, that's part of making friends. There are bunks in each room, so if we get too many members, we can't all have our own cabins. :) Lauren: Notices parcel on bed, getting up and opening it. It has all her school books, and a notepad and pencil. She notices a note reading: "THESE ARE YOUR SCHOOL BOOKS. WRITE DOWN NOTES ON THE NOTEPAD. GOOD LUCK! -YOUR TEACHER Looks through books, glancing at each one. Math, science, spelling, history & geography, art. Sighs, then puts books in drawer in dresser. Looks around, getting more bored by the second. Sighs, wishing she could go riding with Sugar.	sockylola1 & Spirit

Mia- *tacks her horse and leads him to the arena* Jackie- Oh, what a pretty horse! Whats his name? *tries to pat him, but the bratty stallion bares his teeth* Mia- Oh, sorry! He really is a bit to frisky. He needs to work on his manners. *holds the reins more tightly* His name is Frodo of the Shire, but just call him Frodo. Jackie- Where did he earn that name? Mia- Oh, its from some really really good books by J.R Tolkien. The Fellowship of the Ring, to be percise. And of caorse there is The Two- Jackie- Um, lets just start the lesson. Mount up and jog. Mia- *mounts and jogs, keeping her heels down and her toes up, sitting deep and neat in the saddle, and holding the reins loosely in one hand*	Dragon Girl & Frodo

Miss Kliner: "We start with spelling. Your first word is supersede." Ellie: "S-u-p-e-r-s-e-d-e." Miss Kliner: "Correct." Later... ------------------------- Ellie: "Finished at last! Now I can go riding and meet a few other girls." She walks to Lauren's cabin and knocks on the door. "Hello? I've brought a welcoming gift." Sure 1000. :) Lauren: Comes to door and opens. "Oh, hi! Wow, thanks!" Nervously looks around for something to give her, deciding on a big bag of skittles she was saving. "Um, here you are," she says, taking the choclate bars and carefully setting them on her bed, and handing Ellie the bag of skittles. "There we go! So, what's your name? Mine's Lauren. Are you nervous? 'Cause I am." She stops herself, realizing she's starting to talk and talk and talk, as she sometimes accidentally does when she's nervous. "So, do you want to go trail riding? I have a map of all the trails. I'll meet you by the tack room, if you can come..." says quietly. She gets a carrot and heads to Sugar's barn, putting on her halter and giving her the carrot. She grooms her in the stall and then leads her to the tie rails and cross-ties by the tack room. She tacks her up, and waits for a bit.	sockylola1 & Spirit

Miss Arabella: Hello! You must be... Melody, right? I'm Arabella. Mel: Um, yeah, but just call me Mel. Miss Arabella: Well then. Call me Arab. I adore that breed, and from the looks of your t-shirt, you do too. Come on, I'll show you what we're doing today. Mel: *I grin and follow Arab to the classroom.* Arab: Okay! Here we are! ( i am sorry, forget what I said about the trail ride. XD sorry!!) Lauren: tries longest trail, taking path. Later..... Changes to PJs and sleeps. (i am a day behind! aaahh!!!!) wakes up and changes into clothes, then eats at eating hall. I hurry and groom and tack up Sugar, then mount and go to lesson to Miss J. Does a bunch of jumping and excersises for trail, then gets down and untacks Sugar and grooms her. Then takes back to stall, putting on her blanket. I change out of my breeches and then walk into a classroom Miss J marked on the map. Miss J: "Alright, we'll start with History..." many boring minutes later..... Lauren: Sighs, heaving backpack onto bed. "4 and a half hours homework...." I mutter. I change to PJs, even though it is only around 2:00. I work on homework till 6:30. Miss J: Stops at doorway to Cabin A. "Lights out at 8:00, alright?" Lauren: nods, then puts away her homework and gets out a book. Lays down on bed and starts to read.	sockylola1 & Spirit

Mia- *finishes her lesson and puts away her gelding, then strolls back to her cabin whistling to "Move It Move It" (you know, I have no idea how she actually is whistling a tune like that, but some how she is! XD). She walks inside and collapses on her old quilt with her giant stuffed horse and a Jessie doll, along with her 11-year old Teddy bear that came from her uncle* Where did I put that notebook? *thunder crashes and the light go out* Me. Ow. (Meow, means "oh, come on!") *lights a red, green, and white sparkly Christmas candle* There we go. Emergancy kit.. Emergancy kit... there we go!
