*** birds club *** WOW! Livv! everyone has awesome stories!
Finally this year i found a trustworthy document on the inernet on how to feed baby birds so finally i was able to successfully raise a European house sparrow. UGG! he was so noisey! his nickname was chirpy, the pig!
i hae a sad story too, i found just the other day a house finch fledgling, his leg was completely broken and so was one of his wings. there was no way i could save it so i put it in a box with a small blanket so i could pass peacefully.:(
the baby hummingbird though finally fledged and i saw it the other day(there is nothing more funny than a fledgling baby hummingbird!) he ran into a branch while i was watching and flying backwards, FAIL! xD gotta get those wings right baby! |

I was watching AFV yesterday and they had this video being take by a boy, he found a baby blue jay on the ground and from experience with Great Tailed Grackles at our house you don't pick up their baby and expect to get away with it without possibly loosing any hair items, especially with very protective parents like jay or grackles. of course the boy picked it up and then the whole thing went blurry but you could here the boy screaming with the jays cawing in the background, i nearly died laughing... xD |
