| Mary: She walks into the arena and waits for the riders to arrive for their final lesson before the show tomorrow.
Emma: She puts Bandit on the cross ties and tacks him up. He stomps his hooves impatiently, excited to ride. Emma leads him into the arena and mounts. She rides him at a canter around the arena a few times, then pulls him in front of Mary. | AnnaROUaT & Snow White |

| Mary: The jump contest's Monday at 4:00 pm. We're leaving the barn at 3:00 pm.
Bandit: Sniffs Apollo hand cautiously. Emma: "His name's Bandit. I think he likes you." Mary: "Okay. You all know how to jump I assume? We won't go over the basics then. There just isn't enough time. Today we'll work on form and timing. Watch me and Summer take the jump course, then you can take turns going." She mounts Summer and points her at the first jump, a double oxer. Summer takes it easily, Mary times it perfectly by counting strides. Summer approaches the next jump, a fake cobblestone wall, and knocks it with her hooves. Mary stops Summer and looks at the riders. "I timed Summer wrong. I asked her to jump one stride early." Mary points Summer at the 3rd jump, a hunter role jump, Summer stumbles when she lands. Mary corrects her, then stops her. "That was because I leaned to far forward." Mary points Summer at the final obstacle, a triple oxer. Summer takes it perfectly. Mary walks her back to the other riders. "The mistakes I made, were perfectly calculated so neither horse or rider got hurt. In reality, mistakes can hurt. Kat, want to take the course?" Mary trots Summer to the hitching post, dismounts, and ties Summer to the hitching post. Summer sighs happily. | AnnaROUaT & Snow White |
