| Emma: *I smile.* "Well, that sounds like it'll be fun." *I pick up the pace and reach Dancer's stall. When she puts her head over the door, I pet the soft spot on her nose.* Hey, girl. You want to go for a ride?" *When Dancer bobs her head, I let my self into her stall and lead her to the cross ties. I quickly curry, soft brush, hard brush and pick her hooves. When Dancer's practically sparkling, I get her tack from the tack room and give her a carrot.* "Good girl." *When she finishes chewing, I put her baby-blue saddle pad (the one with her name written in loopy gold script on it) over her back, followed by her black English saddle. Then I tighten the girth, undo the cross ties, put the reins over her head and ask her to take the bit. She obliges and I pull the bridle over her head.* "We're done!" | AnnaROUaT2 & Snow White |
