| Nixie:*mounts her tall, beautiful stallion Talon with help from Ms. Woodhaven, and gathers the reins up. Talon prances for a little bit, but Nixie calms him down easily.*Just so you know, Ms. Woodhaven, neither of my horses are very good at dressage movements, so I don't know how well we will do at the first part of this.*smiles at the lady, and enters to ring. Talon trots easily and controlled in a line through the center of the ring, and they halt at X. Then, Nixie squeezes with her thighs and her left heel, signalling Talon to side pass to the right. The stallion tosses his head, pinning his ears back at the request, but obeys his rider. At the rail Nixie reverses her aids and Talon side passes to the left back to X. Then Nixie sits down to Talon's jolting trot all the way to the rail and then, with a little difficulty, she gets Talon to track right. Finally, on the long side, both Nixie and Talon are grateful from the comfortable canter. At the end Nixie has some difficulty in pulling Talon back down to a trot, and the stallion fights her until they finally reach the other long side and are able to canter. Rounding to corner towards the jumps Talon pricks his ears and tosses his head in anticipation. Nixie prepares him expertly, and they soar right over both four-foot jumps. Upon each landing Talon swishes his tail joyfully, flying over the fences as if they are poles lying on the ground. Nixie laughs with glee, and then pulls Talon down to a halt. She is smiling from ear to ear, and laughs again as she pats Talon's barely sweating neck with her gloved hand. |  Danielle Rose & Dandy |

| Miss. Woodhaven: Frist we have a little barrel race. This is based on form.†I say laying out the barrels . “Carter, Then James the Kate and last will be Apollo.â€
Carter: I line up my pal. mare for the barrels. Mr. Conner: I join Miss. Woodhaven Miss. Woodhaven: “Go Ahead.†Carter: “Race The Wind Brink.†I whisper. I then we fly. The wind rush through my hair as we fly through the timers. I take up a barrel seat as Brinker takes the first barrel. Then we fly for the second Brinker is showing off now. I grin as we round the turn for the next barrel. I gather the reins tighter as we head for the final barrel. We take the final barrel then explode for home. I loosen the reins and Brinker puts on more speed. We sliding stop past the timers and then I walk Brinker on lose reins. Mr. Conner: “Nice, 14.5.†Carter: We’ve ran faster.†I say back James: I ride my blue roan in to place Mr. Conner: “GO.†James: My mount starts to dance in place. “Ready Kiss.†I whisper, she nods her head. I click my heels to her side. She explodes. Kate: I hold my own blue roan mount in line James: We soar round the first I’m up I barrel seat before the barrel. Then we rein around the second barrel and head for the last one. I rein hard around the barrel then we fly back. I rein in hard after the timers. Mr. Conner: “15.†Kate: I line up Trip. Then we fly for the first barrel a little too wide but a pull him tighter. Then we take the next barrel to tight. Then we fly to the next barrel the we head for home. I pull him up and walk him after the run. Mr. Conner: 16.†| Starwalker123 & Star |

When you reach the long side asks for a right lead canter down it. At the end of the ring raising trot. The up the long side ask for a left lead canter.
