Oh, okay. XD If you've got Amazon Prime you can watch the Original Series for free, by the way.
Which movies? The newer ones with Zachary Quinto and Anton Yelchin or the older ones with the original actors from the series? | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

The newer ones. I don't have Amazon Prime, but my parents were looking into getting it. So, maybe I can watch them soon.:) | GodHorsesAmerica & Pocket Full of Sunshine |

I hope they get Prime! There are so many cool things and goofy old shows from the 60s included for free on Prime Video. I think you'll really enjoy Star Trek.
I've seen some of the first new movie, but I was extremely unimpressed. Your best bet is to watch the older movies. There's some salty language every once in a while but there aren't any annoying inappropriate scenes like in the newer ones. | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

Ok, thanks. I will definitely try to watch them. | GodHorsesAmerica & Pocket Full of Sunshine |

Sure thing. I sent Milkshake and Liliana Wmails but they haven't responded yet, nor have they showed up. . .so I guess we just wait around for something to happen. | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

Okay, I've heard Star Trek being compared to Star Wars. Are they similar in any way, because I have watched Star Wars. | GodHorsesAmerica & Pocket Full of Sunshine |

Honestly, I'm not sure, because I don't like Star Wars so I have really no idea what it's about. But I can tell you what Star Trek is about so you can compare them:
The Original Series (TOS) of Star Trek has this great big confederation of planets called Starfleet Command, and what Starfleet Command does is send ships out to go explore the universe further and help out its members in case of plague or drought or attack by their two main enemies: the Klingons and the Romulans. The biggest and best of these spaceships is a starship, the space equivalent of a battleship. TOS follows this one starship, the "Enterprise", and its crew as they go on missions assigned to them by Starfleet Command and match wits with computers and robots and hostile aliens. It's a very cool show. All the other series that follow it basically do the same thing, except Deep Space 9 which I think is set on some lonely outpost or something, and the movies of course have the Enterprise crew dealing with one specific threat. The first of the Star Trek movies isn't so good because they're still getting into the swing of things, but the others are pretty good.
I hope that made sense. I just got butchered at the chiropractor so I'm not thinking too straight yet. The chiropractor insists my spine is crooked or my head is screwed on backwards or something so she's trying to fix the "problem" in an extremely painful way. | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |

Oh, that helped! Thanks. I hope you feel better. | GodHorsesAmerica & Pocket Full of Sunshine |

Oh, good, I'm glad. Giving synopses of my favorite shows is fun...don't ask me why because I'm not sure. So based on what I told you, is Star Wars similar?
So far I'm just extremely stiff and sore and make crunching noises when I try to move. . .incidentally, do you like snakes? | Nat2 & The Price of Valor |
