chase: here are the winners! Katie on Peppy miller 1st amethyst on Roxy 2nd Jess on Brooklyn 3rd Paia on Scooter 4th :) word of advice for all competitors: Katie keep up the good work, Amethyst you did a great job! Jess good work keep it up, and focus on more details id you want higher placings, and Paia, work on more description:) I am giving you all these tips so that they can be used on your next class or show!:) now get your horses ready for the next class: showmanship, this is where you enter at a trot, weave through four barrels, trot over poles, walk on a tarp, halt, pick up each hoof, and then trot around the arena and and walk in a small circle!	rrpals & Black Widow

Jess: * I jog in the arena with Brooklyn at a trot leading on the correct side he pays attention to all my signals I make sure I am jogging at his shoulder not too in front or behind when we reach the barrels I lead brooklyn without pulling him using my body language he weaves perfectly keeping at an even pace and not getting to close to the barrels when we reach the polls I look at Brooklyn's feet making sure he doesn't "jump" over the polls we go over then together I stay at his shoulder at all times after we trot over the last poll I slow him to a walk he immeadietly slows down he approaches the tarp calmly when he walks over it-it makes a crunching sound he flicks his ears back and forth but continues walking he snorts when he reaches the end I halt him when we reach the end I step in front of him so I am facing I look at him and nod and point to his right hoof he lifts it with no hesitations then I point to his left hoof and nod he lifts it then he puts it down and I go back into position at his shoulder on the correct side and I ask for a trot using my body language (again) he keeps a nice pace as we trot around the arena when he have finished trotting around the arena I slow him to a walk and do a small circle moving with him then we walk out of the arena	jannah rose & The Fault In Our Stars

Katie: I lead Pepsi into t he arena at a working trot, as we come near the barrels I check Pepsi's pace and then I jog next to Pepsi when we bend from side to side while weaving through the barrels, I know that Pepsi won't jump the barrels because she knows what a jump is and we pass over the poles at a balanced and smooth trot. after the poles I start walking and Pepsi takes my que and slows to a wake, Pepsi is an old timer at shows so she just walks happily over the loud tarp, I wisper: good girl! and Pepsi nodsdd her head and nickers joyfully! then we halt in the middle of the arena and I let the lead rope fall to the ground and Pepsi is there fore ground tied as I go through the motions of picking up each hoof and setting it down, once all the hoofs are checked I pat Pepsi's neck and take up the leadrope, and start jogging with Pepsi right besides me in her smooth trot, as we trot around the arena beautifully I look at Pepsi and she looks happy as if nothing in the world will make her stop! but I slow her down to a walk and we walk in a tight but small circle, Pepsi bends her body with the circle and then we bow and walk out of the arena:)	jjpals & Dynamo
