Admin: Thanks for bearing with us while we find out why our site and games have been running so slowly. We may have found just today a line of code that could be the culprit....out of millions. Whinnies & Nickers

Washington, right star?

Cool! Missouri is a warmer state, right?

I have an update on my first horse situation!!! We found a FREE horse in our area and my mom called the woman and he turned out to be a 20 year old Standardbred gelding named Hurricane Signs (Si). He used to be a harness racer and won over 1$ million dollars in races. He's gentle, experienced, and can go either western or english. (Mostly english.) Now the decision is...should I get him? He needs an intermediate rider and I am so novice. I would need to pay a trainer to give me lessons if I got him. That means I would also have to get a job. Any advice on what I should do?

Have you tried riding him yet? The fact he is 20 is good, if he is sweet and gentle he may be a good choice. Standardbreds tend to have a bouncy trot, if that is a concern. Was a he a pacer or a trotter when he raced?
