***ADVICE CLUB*** In this club you can ask me for advice. I will try to give my best advice to you!!

Admin: For the record, Sugar has made it clear to us that she wants this club to be solely her domain in which to offer her opinions. That's ok with us, as long as the opinions offered do not come into conflict with our site's values or what a reasonable person would expect to see. So it's up to Sugar if she wants others to join in.

We are in a tough place here: advice from minors that is allowed to display here is an area fraught with possible problems. So please, before posting anything, would the poster or responder be comfortable saying the same thing in front of a class of third graders? That's the level at which our site is aimed.

admin, I do understand that completely. My family has taught us very well what and what not to say. I will make it very age appropriate. bubba, I'm sorry, but I would like to be the only one giving advice

Admin: Also, keep in mind that the spirit of the Pony Pals books is that young people who are kind, independent and smart usually can find a way to achieve a goal, almost always through teamwork, open communication and perseverance

Bubba, I said no thanks.

Roncy,

Get to know him first. Become friends with him like you would anyone else. Wait a little while after you become friends to tell him.

Roncy,

To some people writing a note is uncomfortable. But to some people saying things outloud is uncomfortable. Do whatever is comfortable for you.

Flutteshy,

If you have friends who have horses, maybe you could go visit their horses. I don't know anything about horse fazes, I've never had one.

Roncy,

Be content with what you have. Think why do I need a 3rd kitten? Don't argue with your parents.

If you don't have any friends that have horses, then there is nothing else I can tell you. If your parents say no, then they mean no.

Admin: we used to have a club called the "I want a pony" club that had lots and lots of posts about what various kids did when they met the same situation.

And please remember that this entire forum exists as a courtesy to our members, who may post but who do not decide what appears and what does not.
