Willow Creek Eventing Stables
We have over 600 acres, a huge 60 stall barn with lockers outside of each stall. We have 2 dressage arenas, 4 round pins, 2 indoor arenas(strictly for advanced jumping), 1 huge arena for flatwork and small jumps, and 3 medium sized arenas, one for beginning jumping, and 2 for intermediate level jumps. We have 2 cross country courses, one intermediate and 1 advanced, and a huge area for trails, with Willow Creek(where the name came from) flowing through the woods. We also have 3 pastures for temporary turn out. And, if boarders wish, they may keep their horses outside in one of our 5 outdoor living pasture.

Emma: I arrive at the stables, hug my dad goodbye and them go around to the back of our trailer to unload Tiger, Dragonfly and all of their tack. I lead them into the barn, find their stalls and then take off their traveling boots to check for injuries. Both of them are fine, so I take off their haters and let them get settled in while I go put their tack in the tack room. I see Ryan just outside the tack room and go to talk to her. "Hey! Ryan sees Emma walk up to her. "Hi, I'm great, how are you? Are your horses settled in?" Ryan asks Emma. Artemis whinnies to the new person. Hershey see her walk in and is intrigued by Tiger and Dragonfly, but then goes back to his food. Phoenix gives a very high pitched whinny and does what little rears he can manage. (I'm changing Prim's color to a Blue Roan) Katelyn : -Tacks up Primrose and leads Primrose to the low jump/dressage arena- *Primrose eagerly prances to the Arena* -I slip the reins over her head and mount- *Prim waits patiently as I mount her* -I circle my hands forward, asking with a reverse half halt to go forward- *Prim easily responds to the hand aid and walks forward- -I let Prim walk for 3 laps, then I ask for a trot- *Prim quickly but gracefully picks up a sweet flowing trot* -I post up and down on the long sides and sit on the short sides- *Prim trots faster down the long side and slows along the short side* -I start doing a long graceful Serpentine, changing my diagonal each time we bend around the corner- *Prim shifts her weight simply around the turns and doesn't slow when Katelyn changes her diagonal* -I Finish the last loop, then press my outside rein to Prim's neck with an Indirect Rein to begin a Spiral- *Prim shakes her head as I cue her with my hand but begins trotting slower and bending to the left* -I bend Prim tighter and tighter each step until the spiral ends and I ask her to walk- *Prim bends beautifully around the spiral and slows down pacey when I ask her to walk* -I pat Prim's side and let her walk. I glance around at the jumps. A Simple Hunter Course of 18" Cross rails and 2' verticals and one in and out- *Prim snorts with pleasure and walks quietly as my eyes dart around the ring* -I open my inside hand after a while and press my outside leg to Prim's side- *Prim raises her head in excitement and picks up a bouncy quick canter around the ring* -I circle Prim at the end to slow her down- *Reluctently, Prim slows down and continues around the turn* -I open my hand after the circle and ask for a lead change while turning to the inside- *Prim recognizes the cantering serpentine and immediately switches leads* -I bend Prim around the tight serpentine, asking for a new lead each bend- *Prim responds beautifully to the hand and leg aids and has no problem slowing to a walk when I ask her to* -I ask Prim for a walk and let her walk a couple laps while I plan my course- *Prim walks quietly as I plan the tiny course* -Outside, Inside, Outside, Inside, In and out, 10 jumps- -I squeeze my legs for a canter and bend Prim around the turn to the first line- *Prim seizes her chance to gallop and leaps over the tiny cross rail with room to spare* -I raise my hand quietly and Prim responds slightly but continues for the bigger Vertical- *Prim tucks her knees gracefully as the bigger jump slides underneathe her* -I push my legs down on the stirrups and leap over the vertical nicely- *Prim slows down around the turn but picks up a 4 beat gallop for the Inside line* Katelyn : Easy Prim, I soothe -I slide my hands up Prim's neck as the first jump of the inside line comes up to meet them- *Prim slows down for the tinier jump and pushes off with her hind legs powerfully to clear the second jump* -I sigh in relief of Prim slowing down and get into an upright jumping position as Prim clears the fence- *Prim barrels around the turn for the outside line* -I press my inside leg to Prim to shape her turn and close my eyes as the outside line begins- *Prim rocks back on her haunches and pushes off carelessly at the tiny cross rail* -I get out of the saddle as Prim jumps over the cross rail, a little more then I needed too- *Prim lands swiftly and gallops towards the vertical* -I do a halfhalt and push my hands deeper into Prim's mane as she clears the vertical- *Prim's knees tuck elegantly under her chest as she clears the vertical swiftly* -I open my rein wide to make the inside line- *Prim responds and fishtails to the inside line of just verticals* -I squeeze my legs and Prim leaps over the Vertical, barreling with full speed towards the vertical- *Prim takes a really long spot and dives over the Vertical with room to spare for another horse* -I get popped out of tack at the long spot but regain my composure when Prim lands and turns for the in and out- *Prim turns sharply for the in and out* -I squeeze my legs over the fence and let Prim fly over the in and out- *Prim leaps over the first jump, takes one stride and leaps over the second* -I slow Prim to a walk and pat Prim on her side- Katelyn : Good Girl Prim, that was awesome! I praise -I dismount and lead Prim back to the barn, untack her and let her go back to munching on her hay-	xKaylenex & Braided Gold Scarlet Sunrise
