Hi Ray of Sunshine! Yes, I would highly recommend the Harry Potter books! I loved them though they are not for everyone. Some people don't like the magic involved and that it's about witches and wizards so I would check with your parents before reading if you think they might not approve. But I really liked them and was very sad when I finished the last book
