Book Club 101 You can recommend any book but if you want to discus it with someone pleas do it over your privet massages so that again, you don't spoil the book. Thanks for reading and anyone can join!

I love those books, Bella Grace!

I've never read Les Miserables--and if it's a book about France, odds are I won't read it or like it. I hated The Scarlet Pimpernel--although the movie version was better because it had Leslie Howard in it.

I'll look into it, Peanut--sounds pretty good.

Personally, Codex, I think most adult books can be a little stupid--or at the very least on the same caliber as your average teen book. And your average teen book, on the other hand, has the potential to not be very good either--one reason I'm writing my trilogy, because I read badly-done books and think, "I can do better. . ."

not all teen books i find are horrible. Though to each their own i guess.

Another good one I found while moving:
The Egypt Game, By Zilpha Kealley Snyder

If your into Egypt lore and mystery this one is pretty good. I need to reread it as it's been YEARS since i last read it XD I was in Jr. High when i read it last so that's a good 10 years or so

I guess I'm assuming that teen books are bad because when I go to the book store, the only ones I see are stupid ones because everyone else has gotten there before me and bought the good ones already. XD

I love the Egypt Game! I read it a bajillion years ago and adored it. We have a copy around here somewhere and I've been wanting to read it again. So I'm guessing you went through an Egypt phase too, Codex?

I've read the unabridged version of Pilgrim's Progress, Peanut. I never made it to the second one, though. Christiana's journey or whatever it was called.

Black Beauty is one of my favorites. I have no idea how many times I've read it because I lost count after thirteen. Another one of my favorites is The Picture Of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

Phantom Stallion is my go to. No doubt about it. I'm going through them a second time, but just found out my library doesn't have ALL of them anymore! Not even the ending! I'm gonna freak! Terri Farley, and Walter Farley are the best!! I cannot possibly live! LOL! ;)

I have PeanutisaBay! The movie is freaky though, and I don't think it really relates to the book at all!

One of my favorite series is The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place. It's a six-book set, and it's absolutely hilarious. It's about this young woman named Penelope Lumley who answers an advertisement for a governess at Ashton Place, and when she gets there it turns out the children who will be her charges were raised by wolves.
