Stonybrook Stables Roleplay Club

RM: Idk if my last post accatuly posted... but here is the continuation. I accidentily hit a key on the keyboard that sent it.

Molly:*hops out of the car.*

Mom:Why don't you go into the barn? I need to go check you in with Anna.

Molly:Ok! *she walks into the barn and is awed by how beautiful the facility is and also by all of the amazing horses* Wow... *she walks down the asile, admiring all of the horse but not daring to touch them*

Skye:* I come out of the tack room and almost bump into a starry eyed girl who is walking down the hallway* Hello, who are you?

Molly:*I look up at the girl I almost ran into* Oh.. sorry. I'm Molly. I'm here for the riding camp

Skye:Hi! I'm Skye. I board my horses here and also take lessons. I'm not participating in the riding program though

Molly: Wait... horses, as in multiple?

Skye: Yah. Their names are Sword and Dragon.

Molly: Wow. I've never accatuly ridden a horse before, so I'm coming to this camp to learn how to ride

Skye:Cool! I grew up around horses. I guess I was very lucky

Molly: Yah.

Skye: Would you like to come meet Dragon and Sword? Sword could use a grooming if you want to help me

Molly: That would be amazing! You wouldn't have to show me how to do anything, I promise!

Skye: I'm sure I wouldn't *looks down at Molly's feet* But before you are around any horse, you should probably change shoes

Molly:*looks down at her worn tennis shoes.* Oh yah.. I have some boots in the car. Should I go get them?*runs out to the car to put on her boots*

Skye: That's better. Let's go meet Sword!

Molly: *skips along behind Skye as she leads her to Sword's stall*

Skye:Do you know what all of these brushes are called? *she asks Molly as she pulls out the grooming kit that she keeps in a cubby next to the stalls*

Molly:Yah! *she names off the names of all the brushes, even the ones that Skye doesn't even remember the names of* Did I do ok? Or did I mess them all up?

Skye: You did great!!!

Molly:*blushes*

Skye:*Lets herself into Sword's stall and gets her from the outdoor run. She leads her into the stall and shuts the door.* Come on in!!

Molly: *lets herself into the stall* Wow. Can I pet her?

Skye: Yup! That why I brought you in here, isn't it?

Molly: I guess.

Skye:* once the girls are done grooming Sword, Skye is thouroughly impressed* Molly, even though I don't live here, how would you like it if I was your mentor? I could work with you on your basic riding skills and things like that

Molly: Really? I would love that

Skye: Ok. I'll go talk to Anna about it *She wanders around until she finds Anna, talking to a person who looks vauglely like Molly*

Molly's mom: Thank you so much! Molly is so excited. We though that if this went well, we might think about getting her a horse. Just a simple beginers horse so that she could practice her riding. If she wants to stick with riding after this would you be willing to help?

Skye: Sorry to interupt, but I just met Molly and she is a great kid! She just helped me groom my horse, and for a person who has never touched a real horse in her life, she has great skill and knoledge. Anna, I was wondering if I could be a mentor of sorts for her?

Skye: well, honestly, I just met her about 15 minutes ago but she is amazing. She knows the names of all the brushes and all the parts of a horse, and I'm sure she knows a lot more than that

RM - Okay! I'm guessing Julie needs to lead Patriot
to the ring. Right?

Julie - *She looks around. While leading her sweet gelding towards the ring, she sighs and wishes to have a friend like every other kid in the Program. She brushes a bit of dirt off Patriot's shoulder and continues walking*

Jennifer: My Mom drives me to the stables with Radio Active in the trailer behind us. I hop out of the car and run around to the trailer. I open it up and Active neighs a greeting to me. I say, "Hi, boy! We're here at last!" It was a two-hour drive to get here, so I'm glad to get out of the car and stretch my legs, and I'm sure Active was, too. I led him out of the trailer, tied him to the outside of it, then unloaded my things out of the truck and other side of the trailer, untied Active and tied him to a wood fence by my Mom's car and the trailer, then tanked my Mom for driving me here and said goodbye and promised to write. I wave goodbye, then leave Active standing at the fence while I walk into the barn to go find Anna to see what stall Active will be stabled in for the WRP.

Julie - *She looks up and smiles* "Hi! Thank-you. Patriot was taken good care-of before I got him. And... no... at least not yet. I hope to make some friends someday." *She looks back at Patriot and reaches up to scratch behind his ears, his favorite spot to be scratched*
