Sunny Day Farm competition club| A trailer pulls up, I meet a girl leading a black horse. She introduces her self as Oakley, I sawy "Hi, Oaklyey, I am Katrina, but every one calls me Kat, Midnight's stall is in the second stable." I lead her a little ways to a large red building, we enter and I lead them down a aisle and stop a few stalls down. "This is Midnight's stall, put him in here and I will show you the tack room ok?" |

I drive my four wheeler thru the trail in the woods that connects my house with the stable. I arrive behind the barn see and someone is here. I jump of and walk into the barn from the back. I see Kat talking to the new girl. (Yes i am spying). As im hiding behind a hay bale Whiskey nickers and whinnys at me and Kat lookes over at me and I quickly stand up and pretend to be petting Whiskey. "Hi yall!" I say and smile like nothing happened. "I'm Mindy." I say to Oakley. "is this your horse?" I listen to the reply then i say "I board my two horses here. Ones name is button shes a broodmare so i don't ride her as much, and ones name is Whiskey he's a stallion and my favourite!" |

I lead Oakley and Mindy to the tack room, I say to Oakley "You can put all of your tack on their labeled stands and hooks, you have a small locker in Midnight's stall, you can put your brushes in there along with any other small things you have." I then turn to Mindy, "Why don't you show Oakley around, then you need to give BOTH of your horses some attention , even your less favorite horse. Ok?" |

She continues to show Oakley around then tells me to do stuff "i will gladly continue to show Oakly around! And okay i will give Whiskey AND Button attention i dont give Button as much attention because she doesn't like me that much." I frown and look concerned. "But thats no excuse! Shes my horse and i will take care of her and give her more attention! Thanks Kat, I needed that reminder." so Oakly, lets go get your tack and stuff." We walk over to the trailer and get the rest of her tack and start putting it away. |

I hop out of the truck and go to thee trailer, I open it, and I climb up into it, I walk to the back and untie my welsh pony Harley. I lead him out and tie him to the trailer. I think about it then say to my mom, "I am going to go look around for a bit." She nods, and I walk into one of the stables, I don't see anyone, so I leave, and walk into the next. There I see a group of people walking into a room. I quickly follow then and soon I am standing in the door. I say "Hi, I am looking for Kat, my name is Alex." |

She competed in Europe and was kinda a big deal there (She doesn't tell people this unless she really trusts them. If it is okay Kat already knows all about her.) . She is a little full of herself at first meeting people. Once she gets to know someone she is not so full of herself. Hope all this is okay with you guys.***
I say to Mindy "Oh Hi. I'm Oakley. Yes, this is my horse. His name is Midnight." Kat then shows me where to put my things. I put up all my tack, brushes and etc. up. She then says that Mindy will show me around then we need to spend time with our horses. Kat walks off and I turn to Mindy and say "Soooo, can you show me the arenas. I want to know what kind of arena I'll be working with. Me and Midnight need to keep in shape." I look at Mindy, waiting on an answer. |
