| I was talking to a guy today who was driving down the street and he said he hadn't seen them around before. We're both pretty sure somebody dumped them. That happens a lot around here because it's kind of a rural area--our neighbor once said somebody dumped five stallions by her house and they got in with her mares, so she had a fun time trying to separate them. . . |

Here's my entry. . .it's not very good, since I thought it up at like one in the morning. . .
Dream
Flitting like a pure-white feather
Fallen from an angel’s wing,
Driven, dancing by the wind,
She winds through the trees
With unearthly grace.
I stand and watch
Watch and dream
That someday she will turn
And look at me with liquid dark eyes
And trust me to come near.
But for now she is wary,
And I dare not approach,
For with every step the danger grows
Until she turns and flees;
A dove-white wraith
In the evening’s shadows.
Someday I will catch that horse
Someday she’ll be mine and I’ll be hers
But until then
I am content to only watch
Watch and dream.

Starlight
Sometimes I stare into the night
Wishing for Starlight
Neighing and snorting
He came to me black as midnight
Begging me to ride
I told him no
But, how I wish I could've known
That he wouldn't of let me fall
How I wish I could call
And him coming running up to me
Waiting to be seen that night
For he was Starlight
