Your plan sounds interesting; with Venom being all weird and ambitious and Snow having split loyalties this should turn out pretty good. And I'm dying to read the new Wings of Fire books but our library is still trapped in the Stone Age and they don't have ANY OF THEM. URGH.

His talons hit the dirt and he peers interestedly into the clear running water* Pity it isn't spawning season for the salmon. They run here so thick you can't see the river bottom. *he sits, curling his long tail around his talons* Well? *he asks playfully* Go ahead and catch something; dazzle me.

Venom-*he blinks at her* All right. *he curls up catlike on the river's edge, staring down into the water with one foreclaw poised to strike. After a long time he flashes it forward into the water and hooks up a fish, sending it splatting onto the bank. He kills it with a whip-like snap of his tail* There. A little unconventional, I suppose, but the thing's caught anyway.
