| *Alyssa slows Tica to a walk. They turn off the trail and into a forest dense with trees with only a trail about one foot wide to ride on. After riding on it for a while, it ends. Alyssa and Tica keep on going through a big bush and on the other side is their secret clearing. No one ever thinks it's there because of the way to get there. Alyssa hops off Tica's back and lets her loose in the clearing, knowing she won't go far. Alyssa walks to a mossy rock beside the mini-waterfall. She unpacks a sandwhich from her saddle bag and gives Tica a carrot.* |
