From Tracking Down Your Favorites, a recipe for a horse birthday cake:

4 C. sweet feed or oats,
1 C. molasses or honey,
1 apple,
2 carrots, cut into carrot sticks.

Mix honey and sweet feed or oats in a large bowl. When fully mixed, place mixture on a plate and shape into the form of a cake. Use the carrots for candles and the apple slices as decorations. Horses enjoy this sticky, delicious treat!
