ok, i have this recipe that i found when i was doing research for my project on Argentina it was from a book called the wonders of Argentina. it was not a cookbook but it had some recipes in it. igredients

2 cups flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar plus extra for dusting
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) softened unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups dulce de leche(you can either make this your self but i bought it at the store)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon grated nutmeg

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

In a mixer combine flour, sugar, salt and butter. mix until dough comes together into a ball. If the dough is too sticky add a little more flour so that you can shape the soft dough into a ball. Wrap the dough ball in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes.
Sprinkle some flour onto your work surface and roll out the dough. Using a 2-inch round cookie cutter(i used i inch) cut out the cookies and put them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
Bake the cookies until they are golden and firm, about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the cookies from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely, about 25 minutes.

Place the dulce de leche in a small bowl and stir in the cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Spread about 1 1/2 teaspoons of the dulce de leche on the flat side of a cookie and sandwich with the flat side of another cookie. Place the cookies on a platter, dust them with powdered sugar, and enjoy!

I have an AWESOME ice cream pie recipe,

Butter Toffee ice cream pie

Serves 8 to 10- 15 min, plus at least 3 hrs to freeze

3/4 cup toffee peanuts
1/2 gal. butter pecan or vanilla ice cream
1 prepared 10-in graham cracker crust (9 oz.)
1 jar (12 oz.) butterscotch topping

1. Coarsely chop peanuts. Soften ice cream in carton in a microwave oven on medium power (50%) at 5-second intervals, 15 to 25 seconds.
2. Spread half the ice cream into the crust, packing firmly. Top with half the peanuts and half the butterscotch topping. Spread remaining ice cream onto pie. Top with remaining peanuts and butterscotch topping. Freeze until firm, at least 3hrs, or cover loosely and freeze up to 2 days.
3. Let soften to room temperature about 10 minutes before slicing into wedges.

I have another recipe too!

Chocolate ship cookie bars

Makes 16 bars-About 30min.
2tbsp. butter, at room temp.
2tbsp. vegetable oil
1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups regular rolled oats
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2tbsp. granulated sugar

1. In a large bowl, beat butter, oil, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in egg, applesauce, and vanilla extract until well blended.
2. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt;stir or beat into butter mixture until smooth, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
3. Spread dough evenly in a light oiled 8-in. square baking pan. Sprinkle top evenly with granulated sugar.
4. Bake in a 350 degree oven until pale golden brown, about 15 minutes. Let cool on a rack about 10 minutes, then cut into 1- by 4-in. bars. Let cool completely.
