Hi gk99

Gelatin is an ingredient in Jell-O that is numerous parts of animals, including horse hooves.
Horses cannot be legally slaughtered in any of the US states, and they are deemed unfit for human consumption (because of all the dewormers, vaccines, etc. that we give horses). Instead, gelatin is created with connective tissues, extractions from the hide, and yes, the hooves of other animals slaughtered for food here in the USA.

something I did in my cooking class last week,

2 or 4 boneless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
seasoned bread crumbs
2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil
8 slices mozzarella cheese, or more
1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce
Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Whisk together the egg and milk. Dip the chicken breasts in milk and egg mixture and then in bread crumbs. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken in the hot oil on both sides until golden, about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Set chicken in a baking dish.
Slice 8 pieces of mozzarella cheese and put two on each chicken breast. Pour 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce over all. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a little more mozzarella and bake at 350° for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve with spaghetti, garlic bread and a nice green salad.

Chilli sandwhich

You will need:
Chilli
tomato
ham
lettuce
2 slices of bread
chilli powder (optinal)

1. slice all chillies, tomatoes, the lettuce, and the ham.
2. the ham or lettuce should go on first. These bits are NOT sliced. You can have the ham on the bottom of one slice, lettuce on the other
Add all others, apart from the powder (if using). Sprinkled is best, it takes the hottest parts of the chilli away.
sprinkle the chilli powder over it. Put bothe slices together, and serve on a chilly powder- sprinkled platter. Yum!

NOTE: It can be hot, so have a glass of water and ice ready!

Thanks, you can use strawberry, chocolate as well, but vanilla works best. Make sure the icecream is right beneath the biscuts, or it will go EVERYWHERE!
