I needed friendship
And with that I found you
Your cute little ears
And those trusting eyes too
Your spirit was exciting
But sometimes made me blue
I soon learned that accidents will happen
For why I have no clue
But you have to get up and start again
Because courage is always due
Our bond became strong
And we tried something new
It wasn't perfect
But we made the perfect two
We worked hard
So it wouldn't turn into a zoo
And I finally understood
What I'd gotten myself into

Against the gray clouds, the mare looks like white,
Upon the dark precipice, the mare looks like a ghost...
Her noble and fearless eyes catch everything in sight.
The mountain's face looks like a rampart,
But the mare stands unafraid...
She has a courageous heart.
The way she dances and neighs in the air,
Is like a song, wafting here and there...
If it was, it must be a wonderful song.....
If it is, it must be Freedom's Song.....

Snow on Hooves

The soft sound of hoofbeats fill the valley,
The snow flies and scatters,
The bird lifts its head and delightfully chatters,
Then the horses appear,
Their manes flying high in the sky,
The seem to hover above the ground,
Like a flying bird that does not make a sound,
The foals enjoy the fresh wonderful gallop,
They buck and kick and play,
Until the wiser mares tell them to get out of the way,
The stallion stays at the end of the herd,
He neighs to see if any challengers appear,
He stays in the rear,
The lead mare hears his neigh,
Trouble must be coming,
So away the flee,
Faster and faster they go,
So no one can see,
The free herd that will never be caught

My Sister

Sings beautifully as the wind

Remembering Golden Boy

I can still remember when
My pony and I were the best of friends
His Mane was a milky white
and his coat was gold and shiny bright
His given name was "Golden Boy"
because of his coat and was life great joy!
There came a day I knew we'd say goodbye,
like all things that can live they also die.
Golden Boy will always be my star
even in the heavens, he shines from afar.
In life, a day was worth a good run
Round and round the pasture in the sun
I won't Forget him, He was my Pride and joy!
I will always hold my heart out to Golden Boy.
