Have you tried getting to be a volunteer at a stable?
There is sooo much work involved with horses, often volunteering to help change water or clean stalls can get you time with them.

i know what its like!
heres some tips
study horses, learn anatomy if your pearnts see your well educated in horses it may help in pursuading.
save your birthday money, a horse isnt free.
learn about ways to cut costs. for instance horses can go bare foot, they dont necescarily need shoes. and you can learn how to trim your horses shoes, see about learning from a black smith stuff like that. look at buying wormers online, online ones can be cheaper.
also, talk to your pearents about leaseing, you can find some pretty cheap leaseings on the market.
hope this helps;) | 9966332 & Indy |

hey mac, i know what you mean. heres other options for you if you cant afford to fully "own" a horse...
****LEASE**** leasing is HIGHLY recomended for people who can not afford to own a horse. leasing is basicly like barrowing someones horse. you can get leasing contracts for up to several years sometimes or even a few months, most leases the actual owner pays for everything on condition you take care of the horse as your own. a few have you do half exspenses.
****HALF OWNER SHIP**** share a horse! people do it alot in big money horse sports like raceings, 4 to 5 people can have 25 15 or 50 percent owner ship of the horse. and they pay or get thier percent of what they own. so if theres an oportunity consider this, a few of my friends have 25 or 50 percent ownership of horses. its basicly shareing a horse. but its a nice way to get close to horses and actully have a say on the horse like hes your own.
i hope these options help!!! | 9966332 & Indy |
