| Ali: I nod and finish cleaning Ace's stall. I lead Ace in from the pasture and put his blanket on him. I feed him his grain and give him fresh water. Then I hug and kiss him goodnight and have goodbye to Lucy and Margo as my mom comes to pick me up. I hop in the car and we drive off. |

Lucy: I leave midnight to eat and turn out R.J and Star. I muck there stalls. The I tack up Midnight and go to the ring.

Ali: My mom drops me off at the stable and I jump out with my Iphone in my hand. I look at my schedule and read it to myself:
Feed Maddie and groom her
Take Maddie out the pasture
Clean Maddie's stall
Do barn chores
Bring Maddie in
Groom Maddie and tack her up
Have a lesson
Bring Maddie in, cool her, and untack
Groom Maddie and put her away into the pasture
Have lunch
Go back to the barn and bring in Maddie
Groom her and tack her up
Work on balance and patience under saddle
Bring Maddie in and untack and groom her
Put Maddie in her stall
Give Maddie her evening feed
Put her horse blanket on
Go home
After checking my list I go into the barn and kiss goodmorning to Maddie. I give her her morning feed and groom her. I put her out to the pasture when she is done eating and clean her stall. I give her fresh water and hay and go to the tack room to clean my tack. |

| Ali: I finish with my barn chores and bring Maddie in from the paddock. I put her on cross-ties and begin to groom her. When she is sparkling, I fetch my tack and tack her up in a hunter green saddle pad with the logo for "Ally's Competition Center" printed on it, a tan hunter seat saddle, a matching tan colored jumping bridle and standing martingale. I put my black and pink velvet helmet on and lead Maddie out of the stables. I go over to where Margo and Lucy are training and tie Maddie's reins onto the fence. I lean against the arena's fencing and watch Margo and Lucy. I wave to Margo to let her know I am ready for my lesson. |
