Ali: I lead Maddie inside the arena and mount up into the saddle. I nod to Margo. "Yes, I'm working on hunter jumping and I'm in the Amateur division right now. There's a competition Saturday and I want to be ready. But recently Maddie's been rushing the jumps and I've had a hard time with balance and one rein always seems heavier than the other. Plus, I need to work on five foot jumps because they're going to be in the competition."
