Also if you have read the bible then you know it says the world will end in 2012 right?Well guess what?The Hunger Games are a very religuos books....I know they don't seem like it but they are...They are telling us our future....The bible says in 2012 it will b like goin back to the 1700's...and the hunger games are in the future.The hunger games r our future eveyone....Their life style will be ours starting December 21 2012....Let the games begin and may the odds be ever in your favor |

To me, the Hunger Games setting isn't really what I'd think of as the end of the world. I'd say it's more dystopian than apocalyptic, but that's just my opinion. The novel seems to just focus on North America. I wonder what the rest of the world is up to while Panem is off in its corner holding the Hunger Games.
I don't think the Bible really specifically mentions the year 2012 anywhere. Anyhow, there have been many end-of-the-world date predictions in the past centuries (or even millennia), none of which have brought catastrophic results, so I don't expect this 12/12/12 to be any different. But there's always that small chance. :P |
