I want to read the hunger games. I read a short summary on it but it didn't tell me if there's anything bad in it. Is there any gays? kissing? Anything that's not good between peeta and Katniss acting? I don't mean to be rude or anything like that but Harry potter is famous but there's things in there I don't agree with that's why I don't and never will read them.

Yeah, they do kiss a bit, but there's no real romance, it's all strange. Like you probably did, I found Harry Potter a bit too soppy and the actual writing is awful!

like graphic deaths? I don't mind some grusome parts for that's understandable when you have war sences but does it explain it alot? like graphicly. (if such a word exsist.) I'm asking these questions throughly for I've read some books by other that said they were good but they were horrible. | Golden swallow & Bow tie |

if you had to rate seriously what age group it would be from start to end like 1-6 year olds like that. what would you rate the books as? I'v read edge chronicles (if you know what that is.) and I'd rate that 12 and up for there's really mild grusome scenes in there but the writers so good that you still *get the picture.* but he only adds them in for they are nessasary and they aren't bad. just war scenes. | Golden swallow & Bow tie |

The books are suggested for readers age 12-13 and up. The romance doesn't get any more physical than a few kisses. The violence, however, can be considered quite... intense. Lots of characters are injured, killed, and tortured (mentally and physically) in astonishing, brutal ways. It's not like a whole detailed paragraph is dedicated to describing those scenes though. Most deaths are just summed up within one or two sentences. But there are those few parts that may make you cringe a bit (like when ____ was being eaten ... and I won't go any further). I'm not saying you shouldn't read the book because of this though. I'm just giving you a heads up so you know some of what to expect if you decide to read it. Don't worry, the books do have a whole lot more to offer than just gruesome scenes. :D | orangeonfire & Den |
