| Ali: *Hey, boy,* I murmur softly to Skittles. *Your such I pretty boy, aren't you?* I reach my hand out slowly. Skittles sniffs my hand warily, but doesn't react much. I stroke his neck slowly and bring the halter up by his nose. Skittles snorts and backs up a little. | Maddie: smiles as Ali fastens the Halter on him. steps forward slowly and quietly. "Good job Ali. give him a few minuets to get used to it, then you can attach the lead rope. Im going to go see Ty. When I come back from Lucy then we can work on getting him used to the cross ties in the grooming area, and hopefully be able to groom him." I say gently before walking to where Ty is. | Ali: *Okay,* I smile at Maddie. I stand back for a minute, watching Skittles as he nods his head around, getting used to the halter. After a couple more minutes I take the lead rope and approach Skittles slowly. The horse sniffs the lead rope but doesn't do anything.
