| Roxy: I sighed when I herd Meenah call for dinner. It looked like this was going to have to wait till tomorrow. I put Titan in her stall, put my tack and brushes away, and jogged to the house. I pulled back a chair and suspiciously eyed the meal that was plopped on the plate. "Hamburger Helper again? Really?" I asked Meenah.
Meenah: "Yep, we do have a vegetarian option. I made a salad earlier. Here, let me get some for you..." I said, tactfully ignoring Roxy's comment. I opened the fridge door and rummaged around until I found the salad. It included spinach, lettuce, purple onions, carrots, and pecans. I grabbed a large wooden spoon and a bowl and plopped the leafy greens into the bowl. "Here ya go." I said, handing it to Apollo. Rose: Well, I knew that I would get yelled at if I wasn't at the dinner table soon, so I decided that I had better head back now. I could cool Levi down on the way back home. I pulled him to a halt and turned him around. I made a gentle clicking noise, and he reluctantly moved into a walk. | Krystal-*I take some salad silently and sit down, quiet until the flashback starts. Suddenly, not knowing it would happen, I put my head on the table and... I'm back at Ash Show Stables, 3:00 AM, November 6th, Tuesday. I see myself walking down the aisle and smiling as I lead a bay horse out of the stall. My past self kisses his white spade-shaped star and brush him off, 4 white socks sparkling. I watch myself get on, and ride to the edge of the indoor ring. She flicks a switch, and a 6 bright chandeliers light up, illuminating the dirt and white walls. I watch my past self and her horse warm up, then she sheds her jacket and tackle the 4' 6" jumping course, half of the jumps being some sort of oxer, every jump with a filler. We fly over it, NO mistakes evident to even the decently experienced equestrian, but my trained eye catches them all-my slight chips and long leaves, my slightly slipping leg, my letting the horse do what he wanted in one line, my loss of focus for an instant when I see a sparrow out of the corner of my eye, and more. I jerk out of the flashback, and at Chloe's questioning glance, I sit up.* "Fl-Migraine." | JumperGal & Jack Frost |
